Description: The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving and exceeding targeted revenues to increase and maintain overall profitability, with high level customer satisfaction to new and existing customers within the Education Vertical Market. Through ongoing interaction with clients, the Sales Executive plans and implements effective sales strategies and manages the sales cycle in order to build new business and maintain current business opportunities.
Responsibilities: Generate revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales; recommending new products and services. Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts. Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements. Establish trust and build loyalty with key influencers and decision-makers to build solid relationships. Educate the client base on Motorola product solutions and create a consultative selling environment. Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts. Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications. Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts. Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Development and execution of strategic account plans for new and existing customers.
Requirements:
5+ years experience in high end solutions selling. Relentless determination to seek new business opportunities within defined territory through aggressive prospecting to individual schools Comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of the education environment at all levels Demonstrated advanced technical aptitude and complete working knowledge of leading-edge technology Ability to customize sales methodology to specific education targets Superior presentation skills and ease in communicating with principals, superintendents, administrators and IT Directors Expert negotiation skills. Proven track record of managing the bid process and sales cycles of major opportunities in the public sector Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook Ability to work well independently and within team environment Presentation Skills, Internal Communications, Informing Others, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Persistence, Meeting Sales Goalsn Existing account relationships within the Education Vertical (K-12 and Post Secondary) is desirable.n
